The Clubfeet song is explosive. Really like it.
ReplyDelete@Cristi B: That Clubfeet track was a nice surprise, sounds kind of 80s, and I like all the little details in the production.
DeleteI love Lose Yourself to Dance, which is one of the best songs of Random Access Memories, for me.
ReplyDeleteNice to see Jai Paul in here, too. He seems to have formed a cult-internet celebrity around his music which I really dig.
@Cherokee: "Lose Yourself To Dance" is a track that has grown on me, in fact the album would be my no 1 if I redid my top 10 of 2013.
DeleteSince Jai Paul released ”Jasmine” I’ve been a fan, I hope there’ll be an official album soon. Yep, the way his music is surfacing is generating internet buzz. Robert Pattinson was in the video for "All Night", but it got deleted, so it must have been an unofficial music video(it looked real)
Phoenix's Entertainment might be a good first time listen, but not the second or more, to me. Daft Punk and Pharell Williams really have a good time together, quite timeless tracks there.
ReplyDelete@Andina: There is something unique and catchy about that Daft Punk album, a record that will probably stand the test of time. I predict it going into the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
DeleteLove that Daft Punk track. Might be my favorite off RAM.
ReplyDeleteDigging that College song, too. Good stuff!
Eric@The Warning Sign: Yeah, that College track is quite beautiful. Of these, I’ve personally been listening to the Mew and Daft Punk tracks a lot the last few days.
DeleteGreat stuff! I love the College, Phoenix, Daft Punk and Rick Smith tracks.
ReplyDelete@Josh Thank you! I agree.
