That never gets old, just the other day I saw some girls by the entrance to the motorway trying to hitch a ride. Cool when a book can change our life, hope you had fun with your own road trips!Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09395044055566348346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1619249406686227577.post-68035378953713921672015-08-10T21:45:00.128-07:002015-08-10T21:45:00.128-07:00Great review here, Chris! I haven't read it since but I have been wanting to do so. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.Eric @ The Warning Signhttp://www.thewarningsign.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1619249406686227577.post-43770557148528198102015-08-05T03:43:29.528-07:002015-08-05T03:43:29.528-07:00I'd give the film the same ranking, but I have...I'd give the film the same ranking, but I haven't read the book. Maybe if I actually heard the music being played, as in the movie, I would connect more to the jazz. I was expecting the book to inspire me to listen to that old music, and it didn’t. Oh well. If I listened to that audiobook, maybe I would change my mind. Anyway, I enjoyed the book overall.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09395044055566348346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1619249406686227577.post-23697500613426030112015-07-19T22:39:59.542-07:002015-07-19T22:39:59.542-07:00Hey Chris! You seem to have enjoyed this book much more than I did, although I appreciated it for the same reasons... It just didn't captivate me as much. That one scene in the jazz bar was pretty amazing though, except maybe it was just because the audiobook reader read it in such a cool way.Mettehttp://acrosstheuniversepodcast.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
